With a new baby, priorities change.
Just ask Michael and Vivian Truong. Their son Ethan was a big part of where they decided to buy their next house.
“Even though he’s only 19 months, we’re looking at this as our final home,” says Michael Truong, who works in IT. Therefore, he adds, schools, childcare, welcoming green spaces, and convenient access to shopping amenities were all important.
This led them to the Rise at West Grove Estates, an extension of the existing community of West Grove Estates by Bri-mor Developments in Calgary’s west end.
The location is handy for people who have an office in or near the core. Michael works downtown and says he’ll be taking a shuttle bus a few blocks from their new home to the 69 Street S.W. CTrain station to get to work each morning.
The Truongs bought the Fawcett floor plan through Cedarglen. They were fans of its curved staircase and master ensuite that conveniently links to the walk-in closet and laundry room.
Both Cedarglen and Albi are expected to open show homes in the community in early spring 2017.
